Introduction Course for new PhD Students

The Graduate School of Health and Medical Sciences offers an introduction course for new PhD students at SUND. The course will give you an overview of the PhD program and introduce you to skills and competences necessary to become a mature and independent researcher.

When should I take the course?

To get the best outcome from the course, The Graduate School recommends that you complete the course within the first 1-2 months after your enrolment.

The course will be mandatory for all new PhD students at SUND from January 2025, and it will be a requirement to complete the course within the first 6 months.

Location

The course will take place on Panum at Blegdamsvej 3B, 2200 Copenhagen. The exact location for each course will be announced in the course catalogue.

Duration and ECTS

The duration for the course is three days from 9.00-16.00.

The course will grant 2 ECTS and will require active participation and minimum 80% attendance.
