NorDoc - Nordic Doctoral Training in Health Sciences

NorDoc is a consortium of Graduate Schools in health and medical sciences in the Nordic countries.

The NorDoc agreement for an open market for PhD courses ensures that PhD students from NorDoc member faculties can access PhD courses free of charge at other NorDoc member faculties.

What does this mean for me

If you are enrolled as a PhD student at the Graduate School of Health and Medical Sciences, you can participate in PhD courses at the NorDoc member faculties free of charge.

How to apply for courses

Find a list of all courses offered by the NorDoc member faculties at the NorDoc website. You have to apply for attendance through the responsible faculty offering the course.

Please be aware that the NorDoc member faculties may have different rules for admission for their PhD courses. Please contact the NorDoc member faculty you have in mind, to hear more about the admission rules. 

How to get ECTS approved

Once you have attended a PhD course in the NorDoc collaboration, please submit an application for approval of an external course.

If you are enrolled as a PhD at one of the NorDoc member faculties, you can participate in PhD courses here at the Graduate School of Health and Medical Sciences free of charge.

Find a list of all courses offered by the Graduate School of Health and Medical Sciences in our course catalogue, under the section Specialist courses.

We offer PhD students from NorDoc member faculties seats on our specialist PhD courses if there are still vacant seats on the courses after their application deadline.
