The Medical Sciences Part of the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences’ Foundation for Scientifically Employed

The purpose of the Foundation is:

1.  To support the medical sciences part of the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences’ scientifically employed candidates and students in their research and to support travel scholarships and student social purposes.

Funds are allocated as follows:

• 54 %: Research within the medical field (including cancer diseases, dermatology (zoster) and ophthalmology)
  In particular, funds will be allocated to research in sleep disorders and/or smoking cessation
• 28 %: Awarded to one researcher for medical research or a stay abroad for research purposes
• 5 %: Awarded as travel scholarships
• 2 %: Awarded for student social purposes
• 1 %: Awarded to a Danish researcher who serves his country, especially within the field of medical sciences, in the form of a grant or other type of support

2. To support polytechnic candidates and/or medical candidates.

• 10 % Awarded to studies of specialized topics
