PhD counsellors

At the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, two PhD counsellors are available—one specialized in basic research and one in clinical research. The PhD counsellors offer impartial guidance to all PhD students experiencing challenges during their studies, as well as to PhD supervisors encountering difficulties in their PhD supervision.

Both PhD students and PhD supervisors are welcome to contact whichever counsellor they prefer, regardless of whether their work is within basic or clinical research.

What do the PhD counsellors offer PhD students and PhD supervisors?

  • Advice related to cooperation, process-related issues and well-being via emails and phone calls (during specified hours)
  • Meetings (in person and online)
  • Guidance on whom to contact when relevant

You are welcome to contact the PhD counsellors via email to schedule a meeting (in person or online) at a convenient time for you. You can also contact the PhD counsellors during the specified office hours on the phone.

Below, you can meet the two PhD counsellors, hear more about their motivation, and find their contact information.
