Penn Healthcare Case Competition 2026

Penn Biotech Group's 2026 Penn Healthcare Case Competition is one of the only healthcare-focused case competitions in the world, bringing teams from across the globe together for a two-round, highly engaging competition since 2020. 

Participants solve a challenging biotech problem posed by a company; over the course of a month, teams use their backgrounds and critical thinking skills to deliver a business-focused recommendation to the company, culminating in a virtual final-round pitch before esteemed judges. The top three teams receive a monetary reward and a 6-month membership of CaseCoach.

👥 Team Requirements

  • Teams of a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 6 members, with no more than 2 MBA students per team.
  • Open to students from all over the world in graduate/professional degree programs (PhDs, MBAs, MDs, JDs, Masters, DMDs, etc.) as well as undergraduates and postdoctoral scholars. Applicants must be enrolled in a university or training program, either full-time or part-time, for the fall semester.
  • No prior casing or consulting experience required.
