PhD competition "Paasisavut" - THE RESEARCH DISSEMINATION COMPETETION

Are you passionate about communicating the research in your PhD project to a wide audience?
Do you also have a great competitive gene? 
And the courage to present your research in just 5 minutes in front of a panel of judges and a live audience? 

Then join the new Greenlandic PhD competition “Paasisavut”.

• The winner will be whoever manages to convey his or her research in a simple, catchy and relevant way without compromising the science behind it - in just 5 minutes.  

• The best presenter receives a prize of DKK 25,000. 

• The competition will take place at a show in the Greenlandic culture house “Katuaq", Nuuk on March 1, 2023, and will be broadcasted live on the Greenlandic national TV station "KNR". 

Who can participate?
The competition is open to current PhD students and PhD holders who have submitted their thesis within the last two years. It is a requirement that the subject of your PhD project is directly related to Greenland, that you have done or plan to do significant parts of your research or fieldwork in Greenland, and that you are or have been enrolled at a Greenlandic or Nordic educational institution.
