Do you want to strengthen your performance skills?
When: 14 – 16 september
Sign-up deadline: 4 September
All PhD students at SUND now have the opportunity to participate in a course to strengthen their performance skills.
The 2.5-day course on personal performance will happen from the 14 – 16 September 2022 at Panum, University of Copenhagen and is a collaboration with the Ministry of Music.
The Ministry of Music trains people from all sectors in their personal impact and performance. Whether you are preparing for a presentation, your PhD defense, or your next job interview – this course is for you!
You will learn hands-on techniques to improve your self-confidence, nerve handling and presentation skills. This will include breathing techniques as well as exercises that will help you learn to stand in front of people and be in the spotlight. Additionally, you will have to send a 1-minute video of yourself presenting and will get hands-on tips from professional trainers to improve your posture, tone of voice, and movements based on your personal performance. After the course you will know how to present your science in the best possible way, structure your presentations and you will be well prepared for the next event coming up.
Sign-up before 4 September
By signing-up for the course, you will receive a confirmation email within a week and will be contacted by the Ministry of Music to organize your video upload. The workshop will be held over 2.5 days and we will announce the exact times closer to the workshop – but you can expect something between 9/10AM – 4/5PM. Lunch and snacks will be served during the day. Please indicate in the sign-up sheet if you want to join a dinner on day 1.
