Call for applicants! Deadline17 October. The Emory Morningside Global Health Case Competition.
Do you want to represent UCPH at an international global health case challenge in Atlanta USA in March?
The Emory Morningside Global Health Case Competition brings together students from diverse disciplines and multiple countries to address a real-world global health challenge. The 2023 competition will take place from 10-18 March 2023.
University of Copenhagen’s School of Global Health has successfully been sending a UCPH team to this case competition for several years. Each time the students have learnt a great deal about multidisciplinary teamwork, innovation, pitching, communication, and global health topics.
Apply now to become part of the team! The team will consist of 4-6 members, representing at least three different disciplines at UCPH. We accept applications from master-level students, PhDs and postdocs. School of Global Health will cover the registration fee for the team.
Apply before Monday 17 October by sending an e-mail to sgh@sund.ku.dk with:
• Your name
• Study and study level (master, PhD, postdoc)
• 5 sentences describing your motivation for participating
Selected team members will be informed 19 October.
We will cover travel and accommodation up to DKK 15.000 for up to two selected students from Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Law, and Faculty of Social Sciences.
The team will meet at the School of Global Health for a crash course in case solving before departure for Atlanta.
