Short description of the thesis

In his PhD, Joachim Gæde explores the human gut microbiome with a focus on probiotics and postbiotics. Further, Joachim Gæde will discuss his two clinical trials that centres around the safety and metabolic effects of a probiotic containing the commensal gut bacterium Ruminococcus torques ATCC 27756 strain as well as its bioactive compound RORDEP1, both of which have been infused into the duodenum of healthy adults.
