Short description of the thesis

Using nationwide Danish registries, this PhD thesis explores challenges in diagnosing hereditary heart diseases and examines geographic and socioeconomic differences in diagnosed prevalence. The findings highlight that even within a universal healthcare system, disease detection may vary, emphasizing the importance of improving early recognition and equitable diagnosis.
