Short description of the thesis:
Allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation (allo-HCT) can cure life-threatening blood disorders, yet clinical outcomes remain highly dependent on successful immune reconstitution after treatment. This thesis investigates how advanced, high-resolution immune profiling can identify early biomarkers associated with survival, relapse, and transplant-related complications. By analyzing immune cell reconstitution, cytokine responses, and plasma proteomics in allo-HCT recipients, distinct immune signatures were linked to conditioning regimens and clinical outcomes. These findings demonstrate the value of multimodal immunodiagnostics in advancing our understanding of post-transplant immunity and highlight their potential to support more personalized, predictive, and effective care for patients undergoing allo-HCT.
