Advisory Board

The Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at the University of Copenhagen has established an Advisory Board, where important external stakeholders will have the opportunity to advise and challenge the faculty on core issues related to our development.

Dialogue forum

The Advisory Board is a forum for dialogue between the faculty's senior management (the Dean's Office) and the faculty's external stakeholders. The Advisory Board consists of leading stakeholders in the healthcare system and other authorities, the business community, organizations, educational institutions, etc.

Purpose of the Advisory Board

The purpose of the Advisory Board is to forge closer ties between the faculty and the outside world. Here, senior management can receive sparring and advice on themes and trends that are important to the faculty's core business and development – and at the same time we can provide our external stakeholders with increased insight into the faculty. The Advisory Board deals with the themes most central to the faculty, including research, education, collaboration with the business community and authorities, the health area, innovation, and strategy.

Formalities

The approximately 25 members are appointed by the dean for a three-year term with the possibility of reappointment, and new members can be appointed on an ongoing basis. Two annual after-work Advisory Board meetings are held with presentations and discussions.
