The Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences is organised into centres of excellence, research clusters and interdisciplinary centres all of which provide an infrastructure that facilitates collaboration.
Combined with close ties with other Higher Education Institutions and industry, this creates an exciting and stimulating intellectual environment.
I chose to establish my first research group here and moved from the US in 2012. What attracted me specifically to SUND was that there were excellent colleagues in my field of research both here and throughout Copenhagen. This is great for developing ideas and getting mentors to help navigate my scientific career.
