Information about Responsible Conduct of Research

About Co-author declarations
Both co-author(s) as well as the author must sign co-author declarations about the extent and nature of the author's share of the collaborative efforts involved in the dissertation or parts of it.

The declaration must state whether the article in question was submitted previously as a part of a dissertation or a PhD thesis. If the same publications are included in several dissertations, identical co-author declarations may be used for the publications in question.

Summary co-author declarations do not provide sufficient basis to assess the author's actual efforts. The Faculty/the assessment committee may ask the author to provide additional information regarding the author’s contribution to the publications.

A co-author declaration is a legally binding document for the author as well as the co-author(s).
