Three researchers at SUND are Ascending Investigators

Professor Jean-Francois Perrier, Associate Professor Carmelo Bellardita and Associate Professor Jannick Prentø have been named Ascending Investigators by Lundbeck Foundation.

The Ascending Investigator grants from Lundbeck Foundation are specifically for talented mid-career researchers wanting to move in a new research direction, or researchers with small research group in the building phase.

Congratulations to Jean-Francois Perrier, Carmelo Bellardita and Jannick Prentø.

Professor Jean-Francois Perrier is from Department of Neuroscience, and the title of his project is “Innovative Therapies for STXBP1 Related Neurodevelopmental Encephalopathy”.

Associate Professor Carmelo Bellardita, also from Department of Neuroscience, will be leading the project “Cortical Inference Across Motor Hierarchies: Dissecting Predictive Circuits for Sensorimotor Control”.

Associate Professor Jannick Prentø is from Department of Biomedical Sciences, and his project has the title “Building Cryo-EM High-Resolution Models of Claudin and Occludin CNS Assemblies”.
