Independent Research Fund Denmark funds 27 research projects at SUND
27 research projects from the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences receive nearly DKK 88 million for new research.

This year, 27 projects based at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences receive funding from the Independent Research Fund Denmark under the call “DFF-Research Project 1”.
The new projects cover a great variety of disciplines within the health and medical sciences, and the researchers will investigate child obesity, the relation between vira and Parkinson’s, compare the microbiomes of Neanderthals and modern human beings, develop methods for treating brain tumor, and many other subjects.
