Diabetes and hormone disorder research receives millions in funding

The Danish Diabetes and Endocrine Academy supports new research into diabetes and hormone-related research at SUND.

Research into diabetes, osteoporosis, obesity, thyroid disorders, and other hormone-related disorders receives a financial boost at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences (SUND) from the Danish Diabetes and Endocrine Academy (DDEA).

The DDEA bolsters the research field with a total of DKK 13.3 million, with grants going to 12 early-career researchers as well as a visiting researcher at SUND.

The grants from the DDEA support PhD scholarships, Postdoctoral fellowships and a one Visiting Researcher grant.
