SUND students to stay home after corona incident
A student at SUND has been diagnosed with COVID-19. People who were present at the ‘Studenterklubben’ Friday bar at Panum on Friday, March 6, or have had lessons with the infected person Thursday and Friday, should stay home for 14 days, according to the Danish Agency for Patient Safety.
On March 10, The Danish Patient Safety Authority has contacted SUND because a student from the faculty has been diagnosed with COVID-19.
The student has been to classes Thursday and Friday last week and attended the Friday bar at ‘Studenterklubben' at Panum during the period from 11-21 on March 6.
The Danish Patient Safety Authority has done tracking of the infection and assessed the risk of infection.
Their estimation is that students who have been together with the infected person Thursday March 5 and Friday March 6 should stay home for 14 days.
This applies to the following students:
- Students who were at ‘Studenterklubben's Friday bar at Panum during the period from 11-21 on Friday March 6.
- Students who were in class with the infected student Thursday March 5 and Friday March 6. The study administration will contact the students who are in the same class as the infected student.
Do you belong to one of these two groups; you should stay home, even though you do not have any symptoms such as coughing or fever.
