Inaugural Lecture by Professor Tyra Grove Krause
Tyra Grove Krause was appointed Professor of Epidemiology at the Department of Public Health as of 1st February 2025.
The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the significant societal and economic impact of infectious diseases. This lecture addresses the importance of integrating infectious disease research into disease surveillance systems. Achieving this requires robust digital infrastructures and the establishment of strong research collaborations to effectively respond to future epidemics and pandemics. The Section of Epidemiology, Department of Public Health, has the pleasure of inviting you to this lecture.
