The World of Medicine: The healthy and the sick brain

The talk will be held in English, but questions i Danish are very welcome. Remember to buy a ticket (50 DKK). At the event a glass of wine, a soft drink or a gin & tonic will be served during the break.

More and more people develop Alzheimer’s disease! The Alzheimer’s brain is different from the healthy brain in many ways, but especially because its metabolism is different.

Drug treatment of brain- and central nervous system diseases is difficult, especially because it is particularly challenging to deliver the drugs into the brain. Join us for this talk, where our researchers will tell you about the challenges within this field and their own discoveries.
