PhD Coordinators
In order to ensure that your PhD study proceeds as smooth as possible, a number of PhD Coordinators have been appointed. One of their main tasks is to foster a good academic environment for the PhD students. Likewise, they help to facilitate the contact between you, the departments at the faculty, and the Graduate School.
The PhD Coordinators act as advisors on subjects that are not related to the technical content of your PhD. They can assist you if problems or questions occur during your PhD. It could be questions like:
- How can I finance my PhD?
- What is the structure of a PhD thesis?
- I’m not happy with my supervisor. What can I do?
- Where can I meet other PhD students?
- I have got writer’s block – any tips?
- What should my next career step be after the PhD?
