The Faculty is currently advertising the following scholarships

  • Announcement: We have no current announcements. Next announcement is expected at the end of June 2013

How to apply
Scholarship applications must be send via our electronic application system.

The electronic system requires that you create a user account, where you can log in and access you application. You can save your application any time during the process, and you can access it again at a later step.

Your application will be submitted through an application software, where you write the text in designated boxes. We recommend that you write it in a text editing program beforehand and copy and paste it into the appropriate fields. The fields will match the list in the PhD Scholarship announcement.

Pictures and figures for the project description can be uploaded in step 3 of the application process as .jpg or .pdf-files.

Your supervisors statements should be uploaded as text, and the system will generate an e-mail to your supervisors, asking them to confirm their roles in the project. The same procedure applies to approval from place of work.

You can view your application as a pdf-file, if you wish to look it through before submitting.

Once you are satisfied with your application, you can submit it.

When the application has been registered in the system, you will receive an automatically generated reply informing you of the process ahead.

Assessment of PhD scholarship applications

After application deadline, your application will be assessed by the faculty's Research Committee. The processing time is approx. three months. If you are awarded a full PhD scholarship, you will receive information on how to apply for enrolment.

Applications received by the Graduate School are judged according to a set of objective criteria. Please acquaint yourself with the criteria as they may help you to frame your application.
