Record High Number of Participants for SUND Open Day Event

REKORD

On Thursday 2 February around 2,000 interested young people visited the Maersk Tower during the Open Day event. Heads of studies and present students were ready to offer advice and talk about life at SUND. Watch 360-degree film from the event.

There was a line to get through the large revolving doors at the main entrance to the Maersk Tower. Inside the lobby had been decorated with balloons and stands. Guidance counsellors, heads of studies and present students were ready to talk about the study programmes, life as a student and the new building.

According to Study and Students’ Affairs close on 2,000 potential future students visited the Maersk Tower and the School of Oral Health Care at Panum this past Thursday. This is a new record for SUND.

SUND Communication asked medical students Rasmus and Morten to take anyone who was unable to attend the event on a tour of the Maersk Tower. More than 12,000 people have already watched the film on the University of Copenhagen’s official Facebook page. The film was recorded with a 360-degree camera. This gives viewers a chance to navigate around the new research tower themselves.
