The Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences has partners around the world and participates in a number of international networks within education.
The Faculty has over one hundred partnerships with universities and other institutions. They include Nordplus partners in the Nordic countries, Erasmus+ partners in Europe and bilateral partnerships with institutions overseas.
The partnerships, defined as alliances covering a wide range of activities, include:
- bilateral exchange of students at the BSc and MSc level
- bilateral exchange of PhD students, faculty and staff
- research collaboration
- collaboration on curriculum development and summer courses
- joint seminars and workshops
- capacity building
Exchange coordinators from partner universities with inquiries about opportunities for their students should contact the International Relations Office. The International Education and Grants office at the University of Copenhagen can help with specific questions about the nomination process.

Students from universities that are partners with the University of Copenhagen (university level) may also apply as exchange students at the Faculty, depending on the field of study. Please contact the international office at your university if you are unsure of whether your university has a partnership agreement with the University of Copenhagen.
