Vocational Education and Training

The Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences offers two Vocation Education and Training programmes. Instruction in both of these programmes is in Danish only.

Dental chairside assistants help patients, dentists and dental hygienists with various dental procedures. The programme is offered by the School of Oral Health Care.

Farriers are specialists in equine hoof care. The programme teaches skills such as how to trim horses' hooves, how to make horseshoes and how to fit and apply them to horses' hooves. The main part of the programme is taught at the farrier school (website in Danish), which is part of the Department of Large Animal Sciences at the School of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science.
