Professional Master's Programmes
The Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences offers a number of Professional Master's Programmes for working professionals. The programmes correspond to one full year of studies (60 ECTS) but may be taken on a part-time basis.
Professional Master's Programmes offered in English:
Master of Companion Animal Clinical Science
The Master programme gives veterinarians a university-based continuing education in applied and advanced veterinary methodology, paraclinical skills and clinical decision making.
Master of Disaster Management
The aim of the programme is to provide professionals interested in Disaster Management with a solid and holistic understanding of the complex context of acting and working before, during and after a disaster.
Master of Headache Disorders
The Master programme will provide healthcare professionals with a programme that will present them to the newest research, a clinical stay at a world-class institution for headache disorders and an opportunity to develop their skills further.
Master of Industrial Drug Development
The programme is for drug developers in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries who need an overview of the process in its entirety as well as in-depth understanding of the individual elements.
Master of Laboratory Animal Science
The subject of this programme is the welfare of laboratory animals, advanced techniques on laboratory animals, legal and ethical aspects and management and development of a laboratory animal facility.
Master of Medicines Regulatory Affairs
The programme offers an opportunity to get thorough insight into the regulatory process at all the stages during drug development, as well as highlight the differences in regulatory demands that are present between countries.
Master of Veterinary Public Health
The Master of Veterinary Public Health programme is a programme dealing with control of contagious animal diseases and zoonosis, veterinary epidemiology, and animal health economics.
This programme aims at qualifying designated laboratory animal veterinarians to the level demanded by the 2010 EU directive on the protection of animals used for scientific purposes.
