With Education at its Best, the University is focusing professionally and systematically on education and teaching. At SUND we have launched several projects with the overall purpose of:
- A common focus on education at the University
- Gathering the best ideas for even better courses
- Trying out ideas by way of test projects
- Getting students and teachers together

The First Hundred Hours

For many young researchers, teaching can be a great, and sometimes frightening, challenge. This is why as part of Education at its Best, there is a special focus on the first 100 hours for new teaching staff

Tools and Resources

The University and SUND provide a range of resources and courses to help you develop and train your skills as a teacher.

In the toolbox, you will find inspiration for good PowerPoint presentations, for using cases, mentoring by colleagues, etc. to support and develop your communication.

Teaching Teams - for sparring

The university culture has traditionally characterized teaching staff as "lone wolves" to illustrate how they work in isolation in their teaching. At SUND we are giving a selected number of staff the opportunity to take part in a pilot project in which they work in teams to provide mutual sparring.
