Erasmus Traineeships

Medicine

Individual clinical rotations at one of the hospitals included in the Copenhagen University Hospital as an Erasmus Trainee can only take place during the summer holiday when the clinical departments do not teach Danish medical students: from approximately mid-June to mid-September. The traineeship must last for at least two months.
Applicants must arrange their traineeship directly with the  clinical hospital department. Please note that the International Relations Office cannot help students find a relevant department or researcher. The following two links to
will lead you to the hospitals’ websites in the Capital Region of Denmark and Region Zealand.

The application procedure is the same as for other fields and is described on the University of Copenhagen's portal for international students, studies.ku.dk.

See also the information on summer clinical placements.

The International Education and Grants Office at the University of Copenhagen administers Erasmus Traineeships. To find out whether you are eligible to apply and to read more about the application procedure, please see the University of Copenhagen's portal for international students, studies.ku.dk.

Please note that you must find your own supervisor: a professor or head of a research group at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences. Unfortunately, the International Relations Office cannot help you find a supervisor. Tips on how to do so can be found at studies.ku.dk.

Please note: Erasmus Trainees are not allowed to sign up for courses.
